It was great to do some cooking and baking using firewood, but I guess if I had to do that every day, it would lose its appeal quickly. Moreover, there's an electric stove at the cottage as well, as you can see from the second photo. =) We're definitely making rendang some time soon again, maybe this time using <abbr title="textured soy protein">TSP</abbr> strips.
